Beach
Take a 3-minute walk to the 6 km long and 40 m wide sandy beach.
Foldable sun loungers are available for the duration of your stay. Several beach bars stay open until late in the evening and are a wonderful spot to experience the legendary sunsets of the Costa de la Luz.
Golf
Three excellent 18-hole courses within a radius of 3 to 5 km can be played all year round. With temperatures in winter averaging 15-18 degrees and many hours of sunshine, you have the ideal conditions here to enjoy your favorite sport when the courses at home are closed or the weather is simply not playing along.
Surfing
At the beach, you can learn how to surf or improve your skills. Surf schools are open during the summer months.
Bicycles
Villa Oleandra has two bicycles that you can use during your stay.
In the summer, there is a bike rental at the Plaza in Roche, which also offers guided bike tours.
Horseback Riding
The stables in Roche and the surrounding area offer horseback rides and/or lessons.
Roche & Restaurants
Roche
Roche is a small, private urbanization surrounded by vast pine forests, on a 6 km long sandy beach with natural coves. The urbanization is monitored 24/7, providing additional security and peace of mind. Here, you’ll find several restaurants, some of which are open year-round. Also, a small supermarket, pharmacy, hairdresser, playground, and many sports facilities are located about 100 meters from Villa Oleandra.
Restaurants
Experience Andalusian, Spanish, and international cuisine in the countless restaurants and bars in the area. From the down-to-earth yet never boring cuisine of the Andalusians to the Michelin-starred cuisine of Angel Leon in El Puerto de Santa Maria. In Roche, you will find some restaurants within walking distance, such as the year-round open El Timon. Many restaurant details are available in the brochure at the house.
Excursions
Conil de la Frontera
Stroll through the former fishing village with its beach and many bars and restaurants. It is 9 km away.
Vejer de la Frontera
The white pearl of Andalusia, with its historic, magnificent alleys, buildings, and squares.
Immerse yourself in the world of Moorish Al-Andalus, where Muslims, Christians, and Jews once lived together peacefully and left their mark – all surrounded by a 2 km-long city wall, parts of which were originally built by the Romans.
